The Deep Creek High School Band Parents and Boosters
Association is a non-profit organization.
The
objectives of the Association is to create interest in the band, to provide
moral and financial support to the band, and to cooperate and assist the band
director and the City of Chesapeake Schools in carrying out approved band
activities.
The Association conducts fundraising projects for the purpose of
providing uniforms, equipment and services for the band when these items
are not furnished by the school system. The Association also help sponsor
educational trips that have been approved by the City of Chesapeake School Board.
All monies including
collection of dues, trip fees, staff fees, etc. are handled through the DCHBPA. A
locked collection box is located in the director's office for this purpose.
Parents are encouraged to mail all fee payments when possible to the post office
box above. Any questions concerning student fees or fundraisers should be
directed to the financial secretary and /or Ways and Means Chair. Requests for
financial assistance must be discussed with the band director.
